Today in class we watched a current accompaniment clip. The one that caught my eye was the protesting at the funeral of a homosexual soldier. The family sued the come for protesting and the case ended up making it all the management to the Supreme Court, which ruled 8:1 that the church was allowed to because of the fancy amendment in the bill of rights: freedom of speech. Personally I pure tone into that they have their freedom of speech but I go through it wrong that anyone would want to protest at a funeral. What shocks me the just about is that a church, the people of God, was the one protesting. To me, a person is a person no matter if they atomic number 18 homosexual or straight. They should have the same rights as everyone else, and should hold fast the same respect. ripe because they have different sexual attractions does non recall they should be treated differently.
